Respectful Etiquette to be Aware of:
In case there are any questions concerning what is and what is not appropriate, I would like to offer guidance here so you can familiarize yourself with my expectations.
Confidentiality ~ Your information will never be shared with others. Please hold the same intention for me.
Scheduling Time ~ Please be respectful of my time and do not schedule a session unless you are certain it will work for you. We need to have equal levels of commitment to the time we set aside, otherwise we may disrupt the trust-building process. That being said, unforeseen circumstances are unavoidable and it is certainly understandable when things come up.
When setting up our time together, it is best to give as much notice as possible as my schedule fills up quickly. There are times that I can accomodate same-day scheduling so don’t let that stop you from contacting me, but it is much easier to find collaborative times if we look in advance.
Cancellations ~ In the event that your schedule does not permit you to fulfill your time commitment, please give at least 24 hours notice – more if possible. Be respectful of my time and I will do the same for you.
Donations and Offerings ~ When you come for your session we will not discuss the donation. This will take away from our precious time together. You will be directed to the altar to leave your donation in the appropriate place. Cash donations only please.
It is also wonderful to bring temple offerings if desired. Sacred items like pure essential oils, sage, goddess statues, altar items, artwork, books, unscented candles, tapestries, etc., will add beauty to the holy space and will be a gift that will continue to bless many others.
Preparation and arrival to session ~ When preparing yourself for the session I ask that you please bathe or shower prior to arrival. Be sure to arrive in a manner that you will be best received.
Please be on time. If you find that you arrive early it is important that you do not knock before your appointed time. Before a session begins I am often occupied getting the temple ready so it is pristine and perfect for you – I want to be fully present for your arrival!
Departure ~ There is a shower available for you to use before you leave. You will be given ample time to cleanse after your session if you would like (though I encourage you to leave the oil on your skin to give you the fullest benefit).
Please be conscious of the need for time to process after the session as you will likely be integrating the experience through your whole body for the rest of the day or even throughout the week. Mainly, it is important that you set aside enough time so that you are not rushed after your experience. Plan some alone time to completely nurture yourself after your experience. I always love to hear from clients the next day if there is anything to share about the unfoldment of healing and transformation.
Don’t hesitate to ask further questions should you have them!
