Bodywork

September 26, 2015 by Olivia

Holistic Bodywork Vancouver, BCBodywork begins with acknowledging our divine-human embodiment, embracing, honouring the body, and listening to its wisdom and truth.

Our body-mind, chemical balance, neurophysiology, emotions and thinking processes are interconnected and constantly changing. We feel at ease when we are in a state of ‘flow’ through life’s experiences, able to move through different physical, emotional, mental states without strain or residue.

Our experiences in life reflect in the body and can leave residual ‘memories’ which impact the flow of vital energy and the body’s natural processes. By working with the body we can by-pass a whole range of mental, emotional and temporal blocks, limiting beliefs and damaging patterns of behaviour. We can release old memories, conditioning and trauma, and experience ourselves more authentically and creatively.

Presence, conscious touch and loving intention allow the self-healing and regenerative capacity of our body to transform the whole of our being. The body knows how to work its magic…

I draw from Tantric and Taoist practices and other, modern styles of bodywork, with a special focus on energetics. You may opt for an immersive experience, on training and practising special techniques, or a combination of the two.

Bodywork ranges from bioenergetic and Yogic exercises to a hug, touching one’s hands, knees or feet, laying on of hands, or more extensive and specialized work.

Expanding the energetic capacity of the body parallels our ability to experience pleasure.

Most of us experience only a fragment of the pleasurable sensations that are humanly possible. Aided by Tantric and Taoist techniques, you will begin to experience heightened states, erotic trance, and extraordinary waves of pleasure.

My bodywork often employs hypnotic techniques and induces trance states.

It is a great feeling, to experience the body in a natural state of being and flow, but even in the midst of discomfort and tension, we can accept and celebrate our body, recognizing it as the Temple of our Soul, itself Divine. Transcendence becomes a real, tangible experience, as you open to heightened states of consciousness and sensation. This, more than anything else, is what you are invited to gift yourself with.

“He who realizes the truth of the body can then come to know the truth of the universe.”   – Tantra Shastras

Bodywork may be included in sessions in accordance with individual needs, and may also be combined with Breath and Energy Work, and Meditation.

Elements of my work

September 26, 2015 by Olivia

Tantric Coaching Vancouver BCBodywork

Our experiences in life are reflected in the body and can leave residual ‘memories’ which impact the flow of vital energy and the body’s natural processes. By working directly with the body, we can bypass a whole range of mental, emotional and temporal blocks, and discover much greater joy and pleasure. Furthermore, the Tantric approach honours the body as Divine, and through this vehicle and our physical senses we may enter the energetic realm, transform our perception and heighten our consciousness. All my bodywork has energetic intent.

Breath, Energy, Movement & Sound, Meditation

As well as working with the physical body it is vital to engage with the energetic body. Through breath, sound, movement and meditation we can work consciously with this essential life force, to effect positive change and realize ourselves more fully.

Tantra Wisdom

December 17, 2014 by Olivia

tantra-healing-Vancouver

Tantra has been called by many- The Path of Acceptance, mainly because it doesn’t exclude, criticize or condemn anything from the realm of experience. In fact it believes that you are perfect just the way you are. It asserts that there is no sin except for the forgetting of ones true nature.

Tantra gives you unconditional freedom, whatsoever you are and whatsoever you can be. Tantra puts no boundaries on you. It does not define you; it simply gives you total freedom. The understanding is that when you are totally free, then everything is possible.

Tantra is nothing more than a tool to help the individual remember.  Its nothing more than a set of techniques to help you connect the physical and mystical planes. It is never concerned with the question why, while consistently asking the question how.

The very scientific teachings of Vigyan Bhairav Tantra stays away from philosophic “Why” talk altogether. It presents students with a manual of 112 “How” techniques, each one with the potential to unlock the door to their authentic selves.

Among these very powerful tools are techniques centered around sexual intimacy, which is why Tantra is also called The Path of Love. Sex is one of the most powerful and creative human energies. Without sex, no species on this planet could survive. As such, sexual energy plays an integral role in healing and balancing our holy trinity of mind, body and soul.

Tantra says that sexual desire is built into the very fiber of our beings and should not be denied, but rather expressed in healthy ways. Denial in any form is a form of resistance and whatever one resists, persists. If this persistence goes on long enough it may turn into repression, that if not expressed, can result in blocked energy and bad health.

Tantra uses the 5 senses along with meditation, breathing, visualizing, mantra and many other elements to help the individual achieve supreme spiritual liberation.

The word Tantra comes from two Sanskrit words, Tanoi and Trayati. Tanoi meaning to expand and Trayati with two meanings – to weave together and also to liberate. So it can be said that Tantra is the expansion of mind, body and soul and the weaving together of Universal Truths, resulting in bliss, liberation and finally enlightenment.

Sacred Sexual Healing Arts

December 17, 2014 by Olivia

Our method is a fusion of Sacred Sexual Healing Arts, Taoism, Tantra, Buddhism and other teachings

Sacred-Sexuality-Vancouver

You can find the roots of Sacred Sexuality in the ancient cultures around the world. Being it an Egyptian priestess or a Tantric Goddess divided by time and place there were all there to initiate, teach and give the knowledge to the next generation.   The process for becoming sexually and spiritually whole, so that we can reclaim our power, expand our container and experience more pleasure was important all trough the ages. All true religions in their pure, original forms considered sex to be sacred. We conceived trough a sexual act and our true nature includes sexuality. So God created sex and mankind corrupted it. See the old scriptures here or here or in many other sources…

Once the sensual and the sacred are integrated, intentions are set, presents  and awareness are there every sexual act become healing. Sexual act not necessary involve sexuality like we learned in the west. It is not about the intercourse… it can be a hold, touch, hug or even just being present with one-other. It is about creating a space where you feel safe, where the present and intentions are aligned to open you up. To face the issues around sexuality and to move trough them with present. When the wounds of the feminine and masculine aspect are healed we step into a realm of higher consciousness. The Sacred Sexual Healing is first effect your body/mind/spirit harmony. ” But as you go deeper into practices you discover the truth of the individual body temple is a microcosm of the collective consciousness. As we heal our own shallow breathing patterns, we’ll stop polluting the air. As we heal our unhealthy eating habits, we’ll stop consuming and wasting non renewable resources on the planet. As we heal our emotional wounding, the world’s waters will run clear again. As we heal our sexual wounds, all beings may be happy and all beings may be free.” (source)

There are many wonderful books that outline the history of sacred sex, ancient Tantric scriptures and sexual Shamanic practices.

What Happens During A Tantric Massage?

December 1, 2014 by Olivia

Authentic Tantra Vancouver

  • An Authentic Tantric Therapist worships the whole of the body, mind & soul… using gentle caress,  her feminine intuition, pure loving intention & the lightest of fingertip touches ~ consciously building up sexual arousal, allowing it to flow through to the parts of the body that hunger for it the most.
  • A tantric massage usually finishes, depending on the needs & progress of each individual with a yoni or Lingham massage which fires the kundalini to move up through the body, thus creating moments of awakening ~ a blissful whole body orgasm.
  • Unlike the erotic tantric massage shared between lovers or offered by erotic masseurs, a tantric therapist although igniting the flames of pleasure & passion within, does not use masturbation techniques on the Lingham or yoni.  The techniques are purely for massaging these areas & creating new senses of arousal.
  • The individual is then left to rest for a while in the warm glow of his/her own ecstasy.

The Chakra System

February 14, 2014 by Olivia

The chakras are concentrated vortices of energy within the subtle body, centers of consciousness. They are way-stations along the upward path of the Kundalini. Our bodies actually have many chakras, both big (e.g. at the crown of the head) and small (e.g. at the pads of our fingers). “The chakras” refer to the seven main chakras “situated” along the axis of the spine. All the chakras have the potential to become powerful erogenous zones!

English and Sanskrit Name Location Color Symbol Central Issue Goals Intuitive Abilities
Crown Chakra
Sahasrara
Top of head Violet Awareness Wisdom, knowledge, consciousness, spiritual connection Knowingness
Sixth Chakra
Ajna
Center of head Indigo Imagination, intuition Clear seeing, non-judgment, accurate interpretation Clairvoyance, the ability to see spirit
Fifth Chakra
Vissudha
Throat Blue Communication, creative expression Clear, authentic communication and creativity Clairaudience, the ability to hear spirit
Fourth Chakra
Anahata
Heart Green Love, self-affinity Compassion, tranquility, self-acceptance, good relationships Connectedness to one’s truth or soul purpose
Third Chakra
Manipura
Solar plexus Yellow Power, will Vitality, spontaneity, strength of will, purpose, self-esteem Effortlessness
Second Chakra
Svadhisthana
Low belly, genitals Orange Sexuality, emotions Feeling, fluidity, pleasure, healthy sexuality Clairsentience, the ability to feel energy, emotions
Root Chakra
Muladhara
Base of spine Red Survival Stability, grounding, physical health, prosperity, trust Groundedness

Although we cannot see or feel the chakras with our physical senses, they are evident in the shape of our physical bodies and in the way we think, feel, and handle life’s situations.

Sometimes these energy centers become clogged or blocked due to negative experiences, physical pain, emotional traumas, social programming, cultural conditioning, limiting belief systems, or adverse life conditions. Blocks result in an incomplete or unbalanced experience of life and limit the expression of our own true life force energy. If you have ever experienced a “knot in your throat,” for example, due to holding back tearful emotional expression, then you have experienced a block in the 5th chakra. This block acts as a limit, restricting the full expression of your inner world to the outer. Can you recall a time when you have experienced a “heavy heart,” a block in the 4th chakra? Grief, resulting from hurts to the heart, blocks the heart’s natural lightness and expansiveness; the heart becomes heavy and closed. A heavy heart prevents us from engaging in nourishing, loving relationships, and our life may feel incomplete as a result.

Awakening and opening all of our chakras allow us to express ourselves as unique, whole, and fully-realized individuals.

Tantric practice provides means to fully awaken and open the chakras, with particular emphasis on the second, fourth chakras and sixth chakras (sex, heart, and spirit), integral to our experience as expansive, joyful beings.

House of love

January 26, 2014 by Olivia

A house of love with no limits,
a presence more beautiful than venus or the moon,
a beauty whose image fills the mirror of the heart.
~Rumi

Oh how I love this… Please tell me what you think the house is?

I believe it’s a wonderful goddess full of love and presence.
I truly believe that it is all all about love and the place where we believe it resides.

The fourth center is called as the Anahatha Chakra, meaning the heart center. It has twelve petals and is placed behind the sternum in the spinal cord.

The Heart Chakra is the home of the Self, the Spirit or Atma – all mean the same thing. Time and again Shri Mataji has stressed that, “You are nothing but your eternal Spirit.” In this way She is telling us that we have to realize and become our Spirit, and leave behind the futility of the illusion we live in. We start the process of becoming our Spirit after Self-Realization, as we start to lose our false identifications with our body, mind and feelings. Only after this enlightenment can we take our Attention to our heart and cleanse it. The Spirit can only manifest when our heart is open and clean, at which point we feel the eternal Joy of Creation and the meaning and purpose of our place in it. If functioning properly, it enables us to feel our Self-Transcendence, generate and radiate love. The state of vibrations maintains and revitalizes our own human systems as well as those of others.

Pure love, which enlightens all, is the real quality of the Heart Chakra. In the unrealized state we rarely love for love’s sake. Because of our conditioning we confuse feelings of love with those of possession, sex and selfishness. Pure love is detached and gives without motive. True love is the quality that emanates from the Spirit and not from the body or mind. Bodily attraction is physical and the mind does not love — it merely wants. When the want of the mind is attained, then the novelty wears off. For instance a child is excited and attached to a new toy, but after a few days, as the novelty wears off, the excitement dies. The same occurs with relationships which are based simply on physical attraction. That which is illusory cannot love or be loved.

Love is often mistakenly taken as restricted to male and female. In fact Love is the flow of life is all limbs, between children/parents, brothers/sisters, friends, senior citizens etc. Where many people share and care, then the whole society opens up its Heart center. It becomes a collective society and changes the world. This is the power of Love. Love is the principle behind all Creation. We say that God is Love and love is God because in its depths we cease to be. In true Love there is no “I” and no “You” – there is simply the merging of the Spirit. In this state we experience true human unity, the true oneness of life. Physically we can appear as different colors, shapes, characteristics, but as we become the Spirit the drop becomes the Ocean.

Inspired and Creative Coaching

December 11, 2013 by Olivia

We are living in an era where people are more disconnected from their authentic and creative selves, thus creating an epidemic to which people must learn the art form of deeper connection.

Our busy lifestyles are preventing us from connection to our body, mind and soul (or our heart) and over a long period of time, a block is formed through our energy system. This results in stress, chronic fatigue, illness, irritability, anxieties, and an overall feeling of loss of control. Each of us have learned an “impressionable blueprint” that has programmed our belief in how we eat, how we work, how we relate to others in relationships, how we formulate friendships, how we harness our creative process, and how we cope.

The people who are closest to us often live the same busy pace of life thus not being able to offer the same intimate, deep level of commitment to our personal or professional growth as we may need.

I am a type of healer who is preparing for a new world, full of different ways, rooted in ancient freedoms. I address the soul through a connection of the mind, the body and the chakra system. I am committed to each individual’s journey with their soul.

Some may define this role as a coach, a healer, a guru, a buddy or friend. Our soul will let us know when the time has come to be nurtured and it is no coincidence that you have found this page. I offer individual and group coaching, always blending various modalities, techniques and philosophies from various spiritual practices.

The modalities may vary based on an individual’s need but the result is the same: an authentic spiritual and psychological awakening that affects all areas of one’s life.

My practice is mostly in Vancouver, BC though I travel to other cities in Canada, Europe and South America

If you would like to converse with me outside of immediate face to face, Skype roundez-vous is  please email me for more information
